Plant Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright indirect light.
A few hours of gentle morning sun is usually fine. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the white variegated sections. More light helps maintain strong variegation and compact growth.
Water: Let the growing medium become mostly dry before watering again. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain completely. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems and can lead to root rot. Slightly wrinkled or thinner leaves often indicate the plant is ready for water.
Soil: As an epiphyte, it prefers a chunky mix rather than traditional potting soil.
Humidity: Thrives in 50–80% humidity. Grows especially well in greenhouse cabinets, terrariums, or near a humidifier. Good airflow is important to prevent fungal issues.
Temperature: Prefers warm conditions between 18–28°C (65–82°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 12°C (54°F).
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer. Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at ¼ to ½ strength. Reduce feeding during winter.
Pet Safety: Generally considered non-toxic, but best kept out of reach of pets.
