Plantalure Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Plantalure for your plant needs! Please review our shipping policy for details on processing, shipping methods, packing, and care tips upon arrival.

1. Processing Time

  • Order Fulfillment: Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. During peak seasons or holidays, processing may take longer.
  • Shipping Days: Most orders ship Monday–Wednesday. Orders placed after 5 PM on Tuesday will usually ship the following Monday to avoid weekend courier delays.
  • Order Confirmation & Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a tracking link once your order is processed. Delivery estimates begin when the carrier picks up the package, not when the order is placed.

2. Shipping Methods

We ship all live plants via Purolator or Canada Post, depending on your location. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and destination.

Options:

  • Standard/Ground (3–7 business days): Best for hardy plants in temperate climates.
  • Expedited (1–3 business days): Recommended for delicate, high-value, or temperature-sensitive plants.

3. Packing Methods

  • Protective Packaging: Each plant is carefully packaged with materials to prevent damage. Insulation, heat packs, or cold packs are included as necessary at no extra cost.
  • Large Plants/Pots: Plants over 8 inches in diameter may be shipped without pots for safety and logistics.
  • Weather Precautions: We monitor weather at both our facility and your location and may hold shipping to protect plants from extreme temperatures.

4. Canada Shipping

We ship to all 10 provinces and 3 territories. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes due to transit limitations.

5. International Shipping

We do not ship internationally due to strict phytosanitary certificate requirements.

6. Receiving Your Plants

  • Be ready to receive and unpack your plants promptly.
  • Inspect your plants carefully upon arrival.
  • Allow plants to acclimate for several weeks before repotting or making major changes.

For more information, visit “What to Expect When Your Plant Arrives” in our Plantalure section.

7. Shipping Delays & Damage

  • Delayed Orders: May occur due to public holidays, severe weather, natural disasters, or courier delays. We work to ship orders as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Damaged Plants: If your plant arrives damaged, please email info@plantalure.com within 24 hours with clear photos of the plant, packaging, and packing slip. Minor issues like bent stems or broken leaves can sometimes occur in transit, but we will do our best to resolve any problems.
