Care Guide
Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal to maintain strong variegation. Can tolerate medium light, but growth may slow and colors may become less pronounced. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Ensure excess water drains well to prevent root rot.
Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix. A blend of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark works well to prevent compaction and improve root health.
Temperature: Thrives in warm conditions between 18–27°C. Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Adapts well to typical indoor conditions, but higher humidity encourages larger leaves and healthier growth.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when root-bound. Best in spring when growth resumes.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
