Nursery Pot Diameter

Syngonium ‘Strawberry’ is an ornamental tropical houseplant prized for its soft, pastel foliage. The leaves are arrowhead-shaped and display a delicate blend of strawberry-pink, creamy white, and fresh green tones. Pink coloration is usually concentrated toward the center of the leaf, fading into pale cream and green margins, giving each leaf a watercolour-like appearance.

The plant has a compact, bushy growth habit when young, with slender, flexible stems. As it matures, it develops a vining or climbing nature, typical of Syngonium species, and can trail from hanging pots or climb with support. New leaves often emerge with brighter pink shades that may deepen with proper light.

Care Guide

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Adequate light is essential to maintain strong variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the lighter portions of the leaves.

Water
: Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil are dry. Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix such as potting soil combined with perlite and orchid bark. Good drainage is essential.

Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average indoor levels. Higher humidity encourages healthier, larger foliage.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Pruning & Maintenance: Remove yellowing or damaged leaves to encourage new growth and maintain appearance.

Tips: Provide space for expansion as it matures into a large, statement plant. Rotate occasionally for even growth.
