Take the guesswork out of plant care with our self-watering pot. Designed with a hidden reservoir at the base, this pot allows your plant to absorb water at its own pace, keeping soil evenly moist without becoming soggy. By reducing the risks of underwatering and overwatering, it creates the perfect environment for strong root development and healthier growth.

Ideal for busy schedules or frequent travelers, this pot minimizes daily watering needs while ensuring your plants stay consistently hydrated. Stylish, functional, and low-maintenance, it’s the perfect upgrade for anyone who wants thriving plants with less effort.

Do Self-Watering Pots ReallyWork?

Yes—self-watering pots can be
very effective and come with several benefits compared to regular pots:

Consistent hydration: They provide a steady supply of water from the
built-in reservoir, ensuring plants don’t dry out too quickly.

Prevents overwatering: By allowing plants to absorb only what they
need, self-watering pots reduce the risk of soggy soil and root rot.

Healthier growth: With balanced moisture, plants stay healthier,
stronger, and require less day-to-day watering attention.

Overall, self-watering pots are a convenient way to keep your plants thriving while making plant care
easier.

Care Guide

Self-Watering Plastic Pot Care Guide

Keep your plants thriving effortlessly with our self-watering plastic pot, designed to provide the perfect balance of hydration and airflow. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced plant lover, this system makes plant care simple, efficient, and worry-free.

How the Self-Watering System Works

Each pot features a two-part design:

  • Inner Pot: Holds the soil and plant roots, allowing air to circulate and preventing root rot.
  • Outer Reservoir: Stores water, which is gradually absorbed by the soil through capillary action or a built-in wick system.

Watering Instructions

  1. Initial Setup:
  • When first planting, water from the top until the soil is evenly moist.
  • This helps the plant’s roots establish and reach the self-watering zone.

2. Refilling the Reservoir:

  • Add water through the inlet or side opening until it reaches the MAX
    line (if indicated).
  • Avoid overfilling; excess water can reduce oxygen at the roots.

3. Monitoring Water Levels:

  • Most plants will need refilling every 1–2 weeks, depending on temperature, humidity, and plant size.
  • For pots with a water-level indicator, refill when it shows MIN.

4. Top Watering (Optional):

  • Occasionally water from the top to flush out any accumulated salts or fertilizer residue.

    Light & Placement
  • Place in bright, indirect light, suitable for most indoor plants.
  • Avoid exposing the pot to intense, direct sunlight for long periods — it can cause algae growth in the water reservoir and may fade the plastic.
  • Keep in a well-ventilated area to maintain healthy root airflow.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  • Every 4–6 weeks: Empty and rinse the reservoir with mild soap and water to prevent algae or mineral buildup.
  • Check the wick: Ensure it’s clean and properly positioned for optimal water flow.
  • Winter months: Reduce watering frequency, as most plants need less moisture during dormant periods.
  • Fertilizer use: Apply diluted liquid fertilizer directly into the topsoil, not
into the reservoir, to avoid clogging or uneven nutrient distribution.
