Care Guide
Plastic Moss Poles
Purpose:
- Moss poles provide support for climbing plants, helping them grow upright, develop strong stems, and attach aerial roots naturally.
Installation:
- Insert the pole firmly into the potting soil near the plant base.
- Gently tie or guide plant stems to the pole using soft plant ties, twine, or clips.
- For multiple stems, use several poles for stability.
Maintenance:
- Keep moss slightly damp (if applicable) to encourage aerial root attachment, especially for Anthuriums, Philodendrons, and Monstera.
- Clean poles occasionally with a damp cloth to prevent dust buildup.
- Inspect for stability regularly and adjust ties as plants grow.
Tips: Use taller poles for faster-growing or larger climbing plants.
- Encourage natural climbing behavior by rotating the plant occasionally toward light.
- Replace moss or poles if they show wear over time to maintain optimal support.
