Care Guide
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light.
Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the white variegation.
East or west-facing windows are ideal.
Use a grow light if natural light is limited, Avoid placing it too close to prevent bleaching. Low light may cause loss of variegation as the plant produces more green for photosynthesis.
Water: Let the top 2–3 inches of soil dry before watering. Water thoroughly, allowing excess to drain away. Use a well-draining mix and a pot with drainage holes. Adjust frequency for seasonal and environmental changes.
Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining mix: potting soil + perlite + orchid bark.
Repot when root-bound or every 1–2 years, ideally in spring or early summer.
Temperature & Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60–80%). Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group plants together.
Mist occasionally, but avoid leaving leaves wet for long periods. Ideal temperature: 18–27°C (65–80°F).
Keep away from drafts, AC units, and heaters.
Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with diluted liquid fertilizer. Pause feeding in fall and winter.
Repotting – Repot young plants yearly, older ones every 2–3 years, using a slightly larger pot. Use well-draining soil, adding a layer of expanded clay at the bottom. Transfer the plant, fill gaps with fresh mix, and water well.
Pruning: Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and improve light absorption. Prune in spring or summer to remove damaged leaves and encourage bushier growth.
Safety: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach.
