Plant Care Guide
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Position near an east or west-facing window. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix—an aroid blend or a mix of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark is ideal.
Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering, and ensure the pot has proper drainage.
Temperature & Humidity:
Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C).
Humidity: 60%+ preferred, though it adapts to 50%. Boost humidity with a humidifier, pebble tray, or grouping plants.
Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Keep soil evenly moist, but never soggy. Reduce watering slightly in winter when growth slows. Use room-temperature filtered or dechlorinated water if possible.
Fertilizer: Fertilization isn’t required, but it can help promote faster, more vigorous growth especially during the active growing season in spring and summer. Use a balanced, general-purpose houseplant fertilizer once a month during this period.
Always follow package directions and err on the side of caution: over-fertilizing can damage roots and stress the plant. When in doubt, dilute the fertilizer to half strength to avoid buildup.
Repotting – Repot young plants yearly, older ones every 2–3 years, using a slightly larger pot. Use well-draining soil, adding a layer of expanded clay at the bottom. Transfer the plant, fill gaps with fresh mix, and water well.
Pruning: Ring of Fire is a low-maintenance plant that typically doesn’t require pruning. Simply remove old, yellowing, or damaged leaves as they age to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage healthy growth.
Safety: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach.

Seasonal Care Tips
Winter— Canadian winters mean shorter daylight and dry indoor air from heating. If natural light is limited from November through February, a full-spectrum grow light on a 12-hour timer helps maintain healthy growth and prevents etiolation (stretching toward light). Water sparingly once soil begins to dry, keep away from heating vents and cold glass, and use a humidifier or pebble tray to maintain humidity. Keep plants comfortably above 15°C.

This is my first time ordering a plant from this website and I will for sure be ordering more plants from here. My monstera Albo arrived in excellent shape and the plant was very carefully packed. I'm very pleased with how big the plant is, I was really only expecting a cutting to come in but it was the whole plant ! 🪴 I ordered the same plant from a different site and it was only a 3 leaf cutting for almost $250 and the cutting was in poor shape. I decided to order another Albo and was so pleased when it arrived. You will not be disappointed when ordering from plantalure! A very happy customer right here 😀 😊
Thank you so much, Cassandra! We're thrilled your Monstera Albo arrived in excellent shape and that you were pleasantly surprised by the size — we always aim to send well-established plants, not just cuttings. It means the world to us that you chose to order a second one, and that you'd recommend Plantalure to others. We can't wait to see your Albos thrive!
