Plant Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or partial shade.Avoid harsh, direct sunlight it can scorch the glossy leaves. Indoors, place near an east- or north-facing window for the best light balance.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. Reduce watering during cooler months but never let it dry out completely. Use room-temperature, filtered, or rainwater if possible.
Soil: Use well-draining, organic-rich soil. A mix of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark works beautifully. Ensure good aeration around the roots to prevent rot.
Temperature: Ideal range: 18–28°C (65–82°F). Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (60–80%). Mist regularly or use a humidifier/pebble tray to maintain moisture in the air. Avoid placing near heaters or vents that cause dryness.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer.
Reduce or pause feeding during the fall and winter dormancy period.
Pruning & Maintenance: Remove yellow or damaged leaves to encourage new growth. Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to keep them dust-free and glossy.
