Alocasia plants frequently produce new leaves, and it’s completely normal for older leaves to gradually fade and drop as part of their natural growth cycle. This allows the plant to focus its energy on fresh, healthy growth.

Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright to medium indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but growth may slow and coloration may become less vibrant. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil are dry. Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix such as potting soil combined with perlite and orchid bark. Good drainage is essential.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.
