Anthurium Red Devil × Venom is a rare collector hybrid that combines the dramatic characteristics of both parent plants to create an extraordinary foliage specimen. This stunning cross is admired for its dark, velvety leaves, prominent venation, and bold tropical presence that becomes increasingly impressive with maturity.

The influence of Anthurium Red Devil contributes rich coloration and strong leaf texture, while Anthurium Venom adds distinctive shape, dramatic veining, and an intense exotic appearance. Together, they create a highly desirable hybrid prized by serious Anthurium enthusiasts and rare plant collectors.

As the plant matures, its foliage develops greater size, texture, and character, making Anthurium Red Devil × Venom a standout centerpiece in any rare aroid collection.

  • No acclimation support or growing advice is provided for imported plants.
  • Replacements are provided only if the plant arrives DOA (Dead on Arrival).

Plant Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Position near an east or west-facing window. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Soil
: Use a well-draining potting mix—an aroid blend or a mix of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark is ideal.

Water
: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering, and ensure the pot has proper drainage.

Temperature & Humidity:
Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C).
Humidity: 60%+ preferred, though it adapts to 50%. Boost humidity with a humidifier, pebble tray, or grouping plants.

Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Keep soil evenly moist, but never soggy. Reduce watering slightly in winter when growth slows. Use room-temperature filtered or dechlorinated water if possible.

Fertilizer: Fertilization isn’t required, but it can help promote faster, more vigorous growth especially during the active growing season in spring and summer. Use a balanced, general-purpose houseplant fertilizer once a month during this period.

Always follow package directions and err on the side of caution: over-fertilizing can damage roots and stress the plant. When in doubt, dilute the fertilizer to half strength to avoid buildup.

Repotting – Repot young plants yearly, older ones every 2–3 years, using a slightly larger pot. Use well-draining soil, adding a layer of expanded clay at the bottom. Transfer the plant, fill gaps with fresh mix, and water well.

Pruning: Ring of Fire is a low-maintenance plant that typically doesn’t require pruning. Simply remove old, yellowing, or damaged leaves as they age to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage healthy growth.

Safety:  Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach.
