Anthurium Luxurians Dark Form is a rare, collector-level aroid famous for its dramatically quilted, bullate foliage. New leaves unfurl in deep chocolate tones and mature into an almost black-green metallic sheen, each one heavily textured with sunken veins and blistered surfaces that look sculpted by hand. This bold, three-dimensional leaf structure isn’t just for show — in its native tropical understory, the bullation helps capture soft, filtered light.
Compared to other forms, the Dark Form shows the deepest grooves, richest colour, and most intense contrast, making it the most coveted look in the Luxurians family.

Care Guide
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Adequate light is essential to maintain strong variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the lighter portions of the leaves.
Water: Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil are dry. Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix such as potting soil combined with perlite and orchid bark. Good drainage is essential.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average indoor levels. Higher humidity encourages healthier, larger foliage.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Pruning & Maintenance: Remove yellowing or damaged leaves to encourage new growth and maintain appearance.
Tips: Provide space for expansion as it matures into a large, statement plant. Rotate occasionally for even growth.
