Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light.Avoid direct sunlight - it can scorch the velvety leaves. Can tolerate medium light but growth will be slower.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Reduce watering during cooler months.
Soil: Use a well-draining aroid mix: orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss blend. Ensure good aeration to prevent root rot.
Temperature: Ideal range: 18–28°C (65–82°F). Keep away from cold windows or sudden temperature changes.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (60–80%). Use a humidifier or place near other plants to maintain moisture in the air. Avoid cold drafts and dry air from heaters.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer (diluted to half strength).
Pause feeding in fall and winter.
