Care Guide
Light: Anthurium Crystallinum Turtle thrives in bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the velvety leaves.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as orchid bark, perlite, coco coir and a bit of peat moss.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry, ensuring the pot drains well to prevent root rot. Use distilled or rainwater if possible, as these plants can be sensitive to tap water minerals.
Temperature & Humidity: High humidity is essential. Use a humidifier, mist the plant regularly, or place it on a tray with pebbles and water to increase humidity.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer).
Repotting:– Repot young plants yearly, older ones every 2–3 years, using a slightly larger pot. Use well-draining soil, adding a layer of expanded clay at the bottom. Transfer the plant, fill gaps with fresh mix, and water well.
Pruning: Remove yellow or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth. Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to keep them dust-free.
Safety: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach.
