🧾 Please Note:
Alocasia are naturally dynamic plants and may occasionally shed older leaves as part of their normal growth cycle — including a natural rest period in fall and winter where some leaf yellowing or die-back is completely normal. This allows the plant to redirect energy into producing new, healthy foliage. With stable conditions and proper care, they will continue to replace leaves and remain vigorous over time.
All photos are representative examples only. Each plant is naturally unique and will vary in size, shape, and leaf form while remaining consistent with the described variety.

Plant Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the dark leaves. Too little light may slow growth.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feels dry. Do not let it sit in water (prone to root rot)
Soil: Use a well-draining aroid mix. Potting soil + perlite + orchid bark works well. Needs airflow around roots.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–27°C (65–80°F) Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Humidity: Loves high humidity (60%+)Ideal for humid rooms or near a humidifier. Low humidity may cause browning edges.
Fertilizer: Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer. Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength.
Growth & Dormancy: May go semi-dormant in fall/winter (slower growth or leaf loss is normal)
Tips: Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them dust-free and glossy. Rotate the plant for even growth. Use a pot with drainage to prevent overwatering.
Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested (keep away -from pets and children)

Seasonal Care Tips
Spring
As light and growth increase, provide bright indirect light, refresh watering when the top 2–5 cm of soil is dry, and maintain steady warmth with moderate to high humidity.
Summer
Protect foliage from intense afternoon sun, water more consistently as soil dries faster, and keep humidity elevated. Avoid hot drafts and temperatures above 30°C.
Fall
As daylight softens, move plants closer to bright filtered light, gradually reduce watering, and keep them away from cool windows and drafts.
Winter
Provide the brightest available indirect light, water sparingly once the soil begins to dry, and maintain humidity while keeping plants comfortably above 15°C. Avoid placing them beside radiators or cold glass.
