Alocasia Longiloba is a striking tropical plant admired for its distinctive, architectural foliage. It features large, elongated, arrowhead-shaped leaves in a rich deep green, highlighted by prominent lighter green veins. The unique shape and texture of the leaves make it a visually captivating addition to any indoor plant collection. Native to Southeast Asia, Alocasia Longiloba brings a lush, exotic presence to interior spaces and is a favourite among plant enthusiasts and interior decorators alike. Its impressive size and bold form make it ideal for adding a dramatic, statement-making touch to a room.

What Makes It Special:
Striking Leaf Shape – True to its name (longiloba means “long lobes”), this Alocasia has elongated, arrow-shaped leaves with prominent lobes.
Effortlessly Low-Care – Moderate Light Tolerance – Thrives in bright, indirect light, no need for full sun or special grow lights
Expertly Repotted – Pre-potted in our premium 5-component soil blend for healthy roots and balanced hydration.
Locally Grown & Acclimated – Stronger, healthier, and already adjusted to your home environment for faster growth.🍁

🌿 Growth Habits:
Alocasia plants frequently produce new leaves, and it’s completely normal for older leaves to gradually fade and drop as part of their natural growth cycle. This allows the plant to focus its energy on fresh, healthy growth.

Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal.
Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves. Can tolerate lower light, but growth will slow.

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist, but allow the top 1–2 inches to dry between waterings. Reduce watering slightly in winter when growth slows.

Humidity: Prefers high humidity (50–70%), but adapts to average indoor humidity. Use a humidifier or pebble tray if air is very dry.

Temperature: Thrives in 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from drafts, sudden temperature changes, and cold below 60°F (15°C).

Soil: Well-draining, aerated mix.
Ideal: peat + perlite + orchid bark or a tropical aroid mix.

Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Stop or reduce feeding in fall/winter.

Potting & Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots outgrow the pot.
Use a slightly larger pot with drainage holes.

Tips: Rotate the plant for even growth.
Remove dead leaves to encourage new growth. Mist occasionally if humidity is low, but not daily.
