5" Nursery Pot

The Monstera Mint is a rare and highly coveted variegated form of Monstera deliciosa, adored by collectors for its striking mint-green and cream marbling across large, fenestrated leaves. Unlike traditional albo or Thai constellation variegates, the Mint’s pattern is softer, with a marbled, almost watercolor effect that makes each leaf look unique.

Native to Central America, this climbing aroid thrives when given room to grow and support to climb. With time, its foliage develops the iconic split and perforated form Monstera are known for, making it a true statement piece in any plant collection.

What Makes It Special:
One-of-a-Kind Foliage – Each leaf displays a soft, watercolor-like pattern, unlike the bold contrast of Albo or Thai Constellation.
Effort & Care – The Monstera Mint is rewarding but slightly demanding, thriving best with a little extra attention to light, watering, and humidity.
Expertly Repotted – Pre-potted in our premium 5-component soil blend for healthy roots and balanced hydration.
Locally Grown & Acclimated – Stronger, healthier, and already adjusted to your home environment for faster growth.

Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light helps maintain strong variegation. Tolerates Medium light, but growth may slow and variegation may fade.
Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can burn delicate variegated sections.

Water
: Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil feel dry. Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. Variegated sections are more sensitive to overwatering—ensure good drainage.

Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix (potting soil + perlite + orchid bark + coco coir). Use one with drainage holes.

Temperature & Humidity: 5–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts. Prefers 60%+ humidity for optimal growth. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group plants together in dry climates.

Fertilizer: Fertilize every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer.
Stop fertilizing in fall and winter when growth slows.

Repotting – Repot young plants yearly, older ones every 2–3 years, using a slightly larger pot. Use well-draining soil, adding a layer of expanded clay at the bottom. Transfer the plant, fill gaps with fresh mix, and water well.

Pruning & Training: Trim yellow or damaged leaves to maintain appearance. Provide a moss pole or trellis for climbing; larger leaves with deeper fenestrations will develop when supported. Propagate from healthy stem cuttings with at least one node.

Safety:  Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach.

What to Expect

Each plant comes in its original nursery pot, which is typically 0.5–1 inch smaller than the listed size to ensure it fits neatly into a decorative pot of the same size.

As with all living things, each plant is unique. Natural variation in size, shape, and coloration is to be expected. We do our best to select a plant that closely matches the one shown on our website in the size you've chosen one that’s healthy, beautiful, and ready to thrive in your home.
